nextEMR was developed by myself, a practicing primary care physician, and a talented group of clinicians and technical people. When I started looking for EMR technology many years ago, I was unable to find an easy to use solution that was well suited for my practice. At that time, EMRs were bulky, interfered with my bedside manner and were not intuitive enough to be useful in an office environment. Therefore, nextEMR was founded on the principles of developing something that the everyday physician could easily use. nextEMR can actually help you practice better medicine by making sure all your patients are at the standard of care for any disease state and illness. While nextEMR is far from perfect, I can promise you we strive to understand how an office runs the practice and how busy clinical schedules can impact a physician's life.

nextEMR was developed and continues to be developed, with the sound principles that an EMR should be one of several tools a physician uses to practice better medicine. nextEMR promises, as developed today and in the future, we will enable a clinician to practice better medicine overall because we are clinically driven and understand the frustrations of a physician. nextEMR is inexpensive compared to industry standards. We demand nothing but the highest physician guidelines when developing modules. We are confident we will be able to meet the needs of everyday physicians today and going forward.

Even though there are many Certified and free EMRs, please be aware that like many things in life, there is no free solution. Always be aware that anybody who offers you a free solution is actually looking for ways to sell your data. These EMR Companies, in which you will come across, are mainly companies who do not understand how physicians practice medicine on a daily basis, particularly the small doctor practices. Therefore, nextEMR is the best solution for the 10 and under physician group solution. nextEMR will not get in the way of bedside manner and will not tie you into any long-term cost.

nextEMR is completely web-based that uses the latest Microsoft technology that is available today and will evolve as the technologies change tomorrow.
