We are in another state. Another doctor I know had to have an entire team come out and install the EMR in the practice. How will nextEMR® be able to do it from far away?
Since we are web based we dont have to install anything in your office. We have developed online web tools and demonstration that allow us to implement and train your entire office as though we were right there. We have dedicated specialist that will walk you through the entire process better than most EMR companies do in person!

Do I have to purchase servers to run your software?
No, all you need is a reliable internet connection and a computer. It is likley that the computer that you have now is all you need.
Do I have to pay yearly licensing fees?

How much are new releases or product enhancements?
Nothing, you will never be charged for that.
What if I have more than one practice location?
No extra fees, it is the same even if you have 5 different locations.
Do you sell my information to other companies?
No, that is not our business model. It is your data not ours.
Will your system qualify for the Government money?
Yes, we are inspected and ARRA stage 1 by CCHIT. We will always make sure that we meet the requirements for any government incentives there are.
Where is your customer support?
Our customer support are trained and dedicated employees of the company and reside in the United States.
Who developed your product?
We do not out source development. We developed it from scratch. We have world class developers that work for us under our company in the same building. We do not develop oversees.
I have seen many EMRs and they are too cumbersome and difficult to use, how does your system differ?
We are developed by physicians and nurses and office staff. We have developed the philosophy of three clicks or less or we don't develope it. Our system will not take you away from your beside manner.
Do we have to use your billing system?
No, we have an easy to use and very sophisticated billing solution- however, if you are happy with your current solution you do not have to use ours.
Can I order blood work from nextEMR®?
Yes, we have the ability to connect electronically to any lab as long as they have the technology.
DME (durable medical equipment) is a pain to order and fill out all those forms, can this be done easier with nextEMR®?
Yes, we work closely with a company that will allow you to order directly from nextEMR® and take all the hassle away from the staff and the physician. With a simple click of the button all insurance information and necessary codes are electronically processed for you.
As a primary care physician I do a lot of home health and hospice and the paper work can be insurmountable, especially with oversight of care. Can nextEMR® help me with this?
Yes, nextEMR® has a very robust home care physician EMR designed specifically for this. You can do certification and recertifications and the system will let you know when a 485 is due and how much time is needed to complete the 30 minute cycle. It will also generate a superbill for you to capture additional revenue. It also integrates with the Beirs list and will warn you of any adverse medications that may affect taking care of the elderly. The system also allows you to schedule your patients by geographic location and reminds you when the monthly visit needs to be scheduled.
What makes this special for a bariatric surgeon to use?
We have a specially designed EMR to meet those needs from pre-op to post-op to nutritional counseling to nutrition progress notes and tracking of diet and of course BMI. We have pre-op reminders for all necessary requirements needed for the patient and we are integrated with BOLD and ACS.
